By the time most people are twenty-five years of age the body is most often done growing. The growth plates are closed and the hormonal development has stopped. For millions of people, they don’t even make it to twenty before they stop seeing growth. Each person is individually different and carries different DNA but for most this is the average age that we as humans cease to grow.
For a lot of young men, this is a very concerning fact because if you are not the height you wish to be by the time you are twenty-five, you are likely not to get any taller and there isn’t much you can do about it. However, there is some good news. It is possible to grow after you are twenty-five!
Like I mentioned before, everyone is different and has different genetic make-ups. This means that you could be a late bloomer and could still be growing for years after the twenty-five mark. If you have already hit your growth spurt, this probably isn’t you and you should probably look into therapy so that you can cope with your sadness.
If you feel that you are for sure not getting any taller feel free to read our latter blogs about how to look taller.
