Spike Ball is a sport that is sweeping the nation, it has gone from a backyard family game to a worldwide phenomenon. So how did this sport come to be and who is the tallest spike ball player out there? Let’s find out.
Roundnet or Spike Ball was a game inspired by other net games and has actually been around since the late eighties. Jeff Knurek invited the game as a variation of volleyball but on a smaller level. I imagine it as the “ping-pong” to the current tennis. Although there are many ways of playing the game, it is typically played with two teams of two. And like many sports, the taller you are and the longer your arms are the more of an advantage you will have.
Tyler Cisek is ranked number one in the last national tournament, he scored over seven hundred points in the one tournament. From the research that I have done, I couldn’t seem to find how tall he is specifically, but he is definitely over six feet tall and has some long arms to go with it. On top of being taller than his opponents, he is also extremely quick as well.
