Our fourth and final 6-foot 5-inch actor is Vince Vaughn. Vaughn really reached the height of his career in the early and mid-2000s. He has been acting since at least 1989 though when he had a small role in the TV series China Beach as “Motor Pool Driver.” His first film was For the Boys in 1991 where he was uncredited. Fans would eventually see him in The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the 1998 Psycho, and much more. The earliest film I can remember seeing him star in was Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story from 2004.
No matter what you first saw him in, there’s a good chance it was in a comedic role as that is his forte. If you want to see him in a very non-comedic film, his latest film is a crime thriller. Vaughn stars alongside Mel Gibson in Dragged Across Concrete and here’s a synopsis:
Two policemen, one an old-timer (Gibson), the other his volatile younger partner (Vaughn), find themselves suspended when a video of their strong-arm tactics become the media’s cause du jour.
That sounds pretty intense and not at all like what I’m used to seeing from Vaughn. The film released earlier this month on September 3, 2018. If you’re wanting more Vaughn, be sure to keep an eye out for his new films releasing next year: Fighting with My Family and Against All Enemies. What’s been your favorite film featuring Vaughn?
