What do you do for work?
I’m an engineer. I work on spacecraft.
What kind of car do you drive?
2016 VW Golf R
What do you like most about being tall?
Probably the utility of it. I can see over things, be aware of what’s going on around me, reach things, stuff like that.
What do you hate most about being tall?
Most of the world is not really designed for people as tall as me, so I don’t fit well in a bunch of places like airplanes, cars, even buildings sometimes. I guess confined spaces would be the short answer.

How tall is your tallest friend?
Probably 6’5”ish?
If you could change your height, would you? Why or why not?
I would. I’d change it to 6’4” or so. Then I’d get all the benefits of height without a lot of the inconveniences, like having to duck under some doorways and ceiling lights.
What is the most difficult piece of clothing to find for yourself?
Pants in general are hard to find. Not too many places have pants that are long enough with the right fit and style.
What is your favorite piece of clothing you have?
I think my snowboarding jacket. I’ve had it for a long time, it fits really well, is a fairly loud color scheme (as snowboarding jackets should be), and it’s nice and warm.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I’ve been getting into backcountry camping/backpacking with my brother and have gone on two trips with him so far. Once in the desert at Joshua Tree and once at 10k feet in the snow up Mt. Shasta. So only the extremes for me!
Any advice for your fellow tall man?
You’re going to stand out in a group so don’t try to hide. Learn to own it with confidence and you’ll be much happier.
