Last week, we took a look at one of the biggest action stars of the year, Dwayne Johnson. This week we’re going to take a look at another great actor who is really starting to make his way in the DC comic book films, Joe Manganiello. Manganiello is the same height as Johnson, coming in at 6’ 5” and he took comic book nerds by storm when it was revealed he would play Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, in DC and Warner Bros’ Cinematic Universe. Of course, his small cameo in Justice League happened last year, so that doesn’t get him on this list, but he was in the movie Rampage with Johnson this year, plus he will star in the movie Stano which is slated for release later this year.
Aside from acting, Manganiello seems to live a rich personal life. He’s married to Sofia Vergara who is a successful actress. He is also one of the more famous players of Dungeons & Dragons. He has guest-starred on the popular D&D show Critical Role in the past and apparently if you live in Hollywood, his house is the place to go if you want to play the game. At least, that’s what he told Stephen Colbert in an interview from a month ago.
